You never know when you'll need the most obscure detail about your company. 7. Present and sell yourself first, then your product and compensation plan. People want to feel comfortable with and have confidence in you before they work with you, no matter what you are doing. 8. Make at least one presentation of your program every day. Even if you can only spend 30 minutes a day in network marketing, make sure you include contacting at least one new prospect during that time. Building your list of contacts will build your reputation. The more reputable you become, the more sales you will make. 9. For a real confidence booster, compose a brief commercial for your self, including who you are, a few highlights of your company, and why your opportunity is the best one in the whole world! Read it out loud until it sounds conversational, and then you'll always have something to say about your business,even if your're tongue-tied in the beginning. 10. Network marketing does not stop when the sale is made. Spend 80% of your business time with your customers and distributors. Never forget that their satisfaction and success is Your success. Keep in touch with your down and upline at least once a month. This is what network marketing success stories are made of. 11. Teach your downline how to duplicate your efforts. Keep it simple! The best marketing strategies are those that your sales organization can easily duplicate. Also, the most successful network marketing companies have a marketing system that is easily copied and implemented. 12. Put a good portion of your income back into your business. For example, investing $100 in advertising may produce $500 in sales. Familiarize yourself with all types of advertising, especially the less expensive forms found on the Internet. Find out what works best for your and stick with it, but be open to new ways of marketing. 13. Seek out top distributors and ask them how they became successful in network marketing. You might be surprised at just how easily free advice is given ! Most successful people are flattered and helpful when asked for advice. 14. Approach former top distributors from other companies. They are usually open to looking at a new opportunity. Sometimes a network marketing company will go out of business. If you contact the top distributors while they are looking for a new opportunity, it could be a very profitable sale. 15. If your downline sees that your are tenacious, it will inspire them to reach new heights also. 17. At recuiting meetings keep your presentation brief, simple, yet inspiring. Prospects lose interest if a presentation is long, too detailed, or boring. 18. Learn to listen more than you talk. For the most part, a sales meeting is not progressing while your are talking. Find out what your prospects are looking for in Network marketing. When you really listen, you really listen, you can gear your responses to suit their particular needs. 19. Focus on what you can do for your distributors and customers, rather than on your own profits. By giving others your first consideration, your income will increase on its own. 20. Speak enthusiastically about your business and the product(s) ! If you aren't excited about them, your prospects won't be either ! List the top 10 reasons you believe people would buy your products. Keep this list with you and/or post it in your office where you will see it every day. 21. Listen to tapes, read books, and watch videos made by network marketing superstars. You can always learn from other's successes. Subscribe to network marketing magazines and spend money on educational materials that will enhance your productivity. 22. Expand your distributorship around the globe. The world is your oyster now, there are huge market prospects in Europe, Asia, and many other countries where network marketing is either brand-new or already a very popular way to do business.
